About Us
girlypop records was started by a group of queer creatives who cared too much about pop music to leave it in the wrong hands. we are opinionated, emotionally invested, and deeply unserious about anything that does not matter. we believe pop should be fun, dramatic, intentional, and built by people who actually give a shit not committees.
we are not here to play industry, chase trends, or pretend every idea deserves a release. we work closely, argue lovingly, trust our taste, and build artists the long way. we care about songs, looks, eras, and feelings. probably in that order.
girlypop records runs small, loud, and selective on purpose. we value creative autonomy, queer expression, and pop music with nerve. if something feels safe, boring, or beige, it is not for us. if it feels exciting, specific, and a little unhinged, we are listening.
we are not a corporation. we are a collective with standards.

Our Mission
our mission is to make pop music better by putting it back in queer hands. we exist to build artists with taste, personality, and something to say, then give them the space and support to say it loudly. we care about songs, eras, visuals, and feelings, and we refuse to rush any of it.
we do not chase trends, over-polish the life out of music, or release things just to stay busy. we work intentionally, trust our instincts, and build careers the long way. if it is safe, boring, or beige, it does not belong here.
girlypop records is here to protect creative vision, center queer and femme voices, and make pop that is fun, dramatic, and actually memorable.
